The MAGPOWR <1ll manual tension control system is a low-cost solution suitable for winding, point-to-point, and certain unwinding applications. Our manual power supply allows for the removal of residual magnetism and utilizes the full power range of brakes or clutches through its unique piezoelectric current performance. This system is best suited for:
(1) winding applications requiring a natural cone angle
(2) point-to-point applications where the roll shape remains constant
(3) applications where slight tension variations are permissible during unwinding from full roll to core. The manual power supply uses current regulation, ensuring consistent output even when the clutch or brake changes from ambient temperature to operating temperature.
A 90VDC and 24VDC voltage supply with regulators are available, with adjustable rated current, and can be matched with magnetic powder brakes to meet various application requirements.
Optional mounting methods include DIN standard rail (CE) mounting, wall mounting, and printed circuit board mounting.
