Edge guiding (most common)

  • Detects one edge of the web
  • Used in unwind, process, or rewind sections

Center guiding

  • Uses two ultrasonic sensors
  • Calculates the web center automatically
  • Useful for variable-width webs

Usage Notes

 

  • It is highly recommended to use SURMACH's free sensor fine - tuning bracket in conjunction with the system.
  • Suitable for scenarios where the photoelectric sensor fails due to material transparency.
  • Not suitable for fabrics with large pores, soft textures, or fluffy structures.
  • Not suitable for environments with significant mechanical vibration, high-speed airflow, or other acoustic interference.
