Working Principle

The guide sensor detects the relative positions of the edges, lines or color blocks of the web material. It compares the detected values with the set values to determine the deviation. After being calculated by the controller program, the deviation is converted into proportional signals and sent to the electric actuator for guiding.

A: The unwinding/rewinding equipment must be fitted with left-right adjustable slide rails and a braking system
Stable web tension must be provided

Q: Edge Sensor Mounting Positions?

A: For unwinding: Installed on the material exit side, at the midpoint (1/2 stroke) between the last movable roller and the first fixed roller
For rewinding: Mounted before the last fixed roller; the sensor must be linked with the rewinding frame
